Artistic Packaging Design for Italian Biscuit Factory

This new inspiring design story invites you to enjoy another artistic case of packaging design. This time, we are looking into the work by Italian illustration artist and designer Simone Massoni. On his website, he shared some of the creative process behind eye-pleasing and stylish packaging for the biscuit factory, Antonio Mattei. In this project, the designer employs beautiful illustration details to make the packaging stand out and attract the customer’s eye.

Let’s check out two graphics projects the artist accomplished in collaboration with Ilaria Falorsi and Laura Meffe to create biscuit tin boxes for the brand. Enjoy the exceptional attention to illustration and design details, which create emotional appeal and contribute to brand communication.

The tin boxes convey the elegant visual message about the tradition of this historic family business in Prato, whose store opened in 1858 and has preserved the location. The design features a set of characters who enter for their daily shopping and get something tasty, and the design team tried to mix cultures and fashions that reflect the two centuries.
