Inspiring Abstract Posters Designed by PosterLad

It’s time for a new creative name in the D4U Gallery; this time, let’s look at the graphic design sphere. Check out the smart and inspiring poster designs by PosterLad, which is actually an art project by a Czech designer, Vratislav Pecka. The designer set a goal to reinvent the perception of posters as art and started it as just a side project of a busy digital designer desiring to make something that only he is in charge of, not the client. For now, he has sold thousands of posters worldwide and never stops creating new ones.

As he mentions on his website, the artist believes that a poster does not always have to promote an event or product; instead, it can be used to express artistic ideas. The distinctive features of Vratislav Pecka’s posters are basic shapes and vibrant colors. His work was influenced by the Bauhaus school and nostalgic memories of the 90s. The primary goal of his poster design is to captivate visually and please the observer’s eye.
