Bright and Bold: Graphic Design and Packaging Art Projects by TRÜF

Another issue of D4U Gallery, this time, introduces TRÜF Creative, a US-based creative design studio that infuses authenticity, simplicity, and boldness into new and established brands. Founded by Adam G and Monika Kehrer, over the years the team has worked on a range of design projects for various customers, from cultural institutions to consumer goods to tech and finance.

In this post, let’s look at some of their graphic design and packaging projects, designed to help brands stand out, catch attention, and awe with bold, original looks.

Thorn & Burrow Wines

Thorn & Burrow Wines is a natural wine company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It creates unique, unconventional wine blends, so for each blend, they wanted creative, offbeat label designs that make them as visually distinctive as their wines.

DAR Chocolate Art Bar

DAR Chocolate wanted illustrations and custom lettering for their newest art bars:  Wild Orange and Ecuador, both 72% organic and ethically traded. The catchy, energetic artwork represents the intensity and handmade nature of the chocolate.

Collective Arts AGED RUM

In this project, the creators worked on a tropical bottle design for Collective Arts maple syrup barrel-aged rum. Collective Arts wanted to honor rum’s tropical origins through art. The solution features a modernist wraparound composition of tropical birds, flora, sunrises, and sunsets that weaves around the bottle. As the bottle empties, the artwork reveals itself, becoming a keepsake that any art lover would keep on their top shelf.
